All last week we ran our #QdobaCraving Photo Contest for the first time! Fans were asked to snap a photo of their meal at Qdoba and tweet it at us with the #QdobaCraving hashtag, and the picture with the most Re-tweets each day won 2 free entrees! We received tons of great pictures from dedicated fans and gave away 10 entrees throughout the week! We were thrilled to see all the fans that are as crazy about our food as we are! We will most likely run this contest again sometime in the future :)
Yesterday we headed to the MU Valley Fields to set up a donated 200 person Naked Burrito bar at the Marquette Fan Fest! The weather wasn’t exactly ideal, but it eventually cleared up and tons of people poured through the line to get a taste! (Taken with Instagram)

Last week, we went out to Water St. in Milwaukee to help sponsor the preview to the “Over the Edge” event that benefits the Special Olympics of Wisconsin! From 11-1 last Wednesday, there was a rock climbing wall outside of the City Center building for anyone who wanted to make the climb! The event was really a teaser for their main event on September 14th, where the public can pay to “rappel down The City Center at 735 to support Special Olympics Wisconsin — a wonderful organization that touches so many lives throughout our state.”
We were honored to be able to attend the event and sample our Chips & Queso right out on the street! Hundreds of people passing by on their lunch break were thrilled to grab a quick snack, some of whom made the climb up the wall as well! We are excited to also be at the main event in September, where we can be a part of a great cause!

Last Friday we were fortunate enough to be one of the sponsor’s for the Bob & Brian Golf Outing in Lake Geneva, which meant free Chips & Queso for everyone! We had the privilege to be at the course’s “Oasis” which we shared with other great sponsors like Leinenkugels! There were a whopping 300 golfers in attendance, all of whom were thrilled to have some Chips & Queso to soak up some of the Leinenkugels :)
Well our freshest location in Oshkosh, WI is nearly a week old, and the grand opening has been a HUGE success! The opening weekend was crazy busy, with a line out the door for the majority of lunch and dinner. People were excited, hungry, and we even saw multiple people come twice in one day! We often sampled various food options right outside the front door to accommodate the people patiently waiting in line, and most everyone was excited to be able to sample something before they ordered it! We also gave food to nearly every business within a 2 mile radius, and everyone seemed thrilled to welcome us to Oshkosh! We love the energy that the Oshkosh community is bringing, and look forward to getting to know our “regulars”! Thanks again to the first 50 customers that won free burritos for a year and to the rest of the dedicated Qdoba fans for helping kick off another very successful grand opening! :)
Last week we used Facebook and Twitter to give hints as to where our “special” Mango Tree would be sprouting in Milwaukee, Madison and Oshkosh. These trees sprouted gifts of free Mango Chicken Salads as we sampled chips and salsa as well. We had a great turnout at all 3 trees, and hopefully everyone loved their free food! :)

Yesterday the Qdoba team made the trek out to Wausau for the Wausau Chamber of Commerce Women’s Golf Outing! It was a gorgeous day for a fun 9-hole outing, and the ladies were thrilled when we offered them our infamous Chips & Queso! Greenwood Hills Golf Course was an incredible sight, and we are glad we were able to spread some Qdoba love :)
Team Qdoba was at the Pewaukee Triathlon on Sunday, sampling Chips & Queso and serving breakfast burritos! Yumm! (Taken with Instagram)
TEAM QDOBA at the Dirty Dog Mud Run!
This past Saturday the Qdoba team headed to Racine to sample and participate in the Dirty Dog Mud Run! The 3.6 mile course was filled with mud pits that we had to run through and crawl under, as well as obstacles that we had to climb over. Very exhausting! Luckily at 3 miles in, they had a beer stand to stop at :). During the run, two of our Qcrew members sampled Chips & Queso near the finish line! Although everyone was covered head to toe in mud after the race, it didn’t stop them from indulging in our awesome food! It was a great experience for us here at Qdoba - if you are interested in running in one of these mud runs, there is one on October 6th in Oconomowoc!
